Sculptor, painter and graphic designer Akbar Nemati is showcasing three series of his artworks at a solo sculpture exhibition in Tehran.
Since August 25, e1 Art Gallery has been hosting Nemati’s exhibition titled ‘Three Series of Artworks,’ ILNA reported. The event will run through September 1.
Nemati, 70, has presented experimental sculptures he has produced in recent years.
On display are a series of conventional sculptures, a number of sculptures made with deliberately burnt pieces of wood and a series of art installations made with welded nails and spikes.
A portion of the exhibit’s returns will be given to charity.
e1 Art Gallery is located at No. 1, Hamid Alley, Lesani Alley, Jebheh Street, Mahdieh Street, Elahieh neighborhood. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 pm. The venue is closed on Saturdays.
