Spanish Art at Niavaran Center

The Niavaran Cultural Center (NCC) in north Tehran will host Spanish Art Night on Thursday, May 26.

Organized jointly by the Embassy of Spain and the NCC, the program is to strengthen cultural and artistic ties between Iran and Spain, Mehr News Agency reported.

Works of great Spanish artists such as painters Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso, sculptor/painters Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies and sculptor Eduardo Chillida will be showcased and Iranian classical guitarist Pedram Falsafi will perform Spanish musical pieces.

Speeches by Iranian and Spanish artists and officials are also programmed for the night.

The exhibition of artworks by the Spanish artists at the center’s Blue Hall will be open to the public May 27-June 2.
